The KH Approach

A practical approach to business change.

The people closest to the work often know where the problems are. My role is to bring those perspectives together, see the bigger picture and create the structure needed to move from challenge to solution.

Understand the whole picture.

I start by understanding the business, its goals, customers, people and current ways of working. I use stakeholder insight, data and analysis to understand what is really happening before defining a solution.

Find what needs to change.

I look beyond individual symptoms to identify patterns, gaps and dependencies across teams, processes and technology — and clarify what will create the most value.

Bring the right people together.

The expertise already exists in the organisation. I create alignment across functions, make different perspectives visible and help teams build shared ownership of the way forward.

Make change work in practice.

From new processes and ways of working to digital tools, AI or broader business change, I turn decisions into structured implementation and support adoption so improvements become part of everyday work.

How I solve business problems

I start by understanding the business, identify the real problem, bring together people, processes and technology, design practical improvements and help implement change that people actually adopt.

Understand

Start by understanding the business challenge through business analysis, stakeholder and customer insights, research and relevant data. When the right information is missing, I help uncover it before defining solutions.

Align

Bring the right people together to create shared understanding, clarify priorities and align business, processes and technology around the outcome.

Design

Translate evidence and insights into practical improvements, roadmaps, processes and relevant AI-enabled opportunities.

Deliver

Turn decisions into action through structured project management, cross-functional collaboration and continuous communication.

Improve

Measure outcomes, evaluate results and continuously refine ways of working to create sustainable business value.

School of Service · Client Assignment

Digital Service & Learning Platform

2025–2026 · Ongoing

Challenge
School of Service supports hospitality businesses in developing service, guest experience and employee capabilities. At the same time, three separate systems supporting CRM, learning and operational processes created technical complexity, duplicated administration and high running costs.
Approach
Analysed business requirements, workflows and user needs and translated the findings into a consolidated platform concept covering CRM, learning and onboarding, communication and operational workflows — developed and iterated with AI-enabled/no-code development alongside the broader service development work.
Outcome
A working platform concept that simplifies administration and creates a scalable foundation for School of Service's broader service offering. The next phase covers market and customer validation, willingness-to-pay testing, a hotel pilot, and implementation and change management.

Cross-functional Business Transformation

2023–2024

Challenge
The B2B organisation needed to strengthen customer engagement and create better conditions for sales. At the same time, several B2B functions increasingly needed support from Marketing & Communications, which was already overloaded and had become a production bottleneck. The challenge was therefore not simply to improve collaboration: the organisation needed to create more customer and business value without continually increasing the workload on Marketing. That required clearer prioritisation, shared planning, changed ownership and a more scalable cross-functional way of working.
Approach
Led a business analysis combining stakeholder interviews, operational data and process mapping. Facilitated cross-functional workshops across five B2B business functions and designed a collaborative planning model. Aligned stakeholders, secured management support and supported implementation and adoption before handover to the business.
Outcome
Established a shared cross-functional planning process that reduced bottlenecks, strengthened collaboration and shifted planning towards customer needs and business value. Business teams gained greater ownership and B2B Customer Service became able to independently deliver digital customer sessions instead of relying on Marketing.

Digital Wine Cellar Management

2025–2026

Challenge
Manual management of a growing, high-value wine inventory required significant administration and made stock levels, sales activity and follow-up difficult to manage efficiently in daily restaurant operations.
Approach
Analysed the operational workflow and interviewed key users including restaurant management and front-of-house staff. Designed and built a functional digital prototype for inventory and sales management, using rapid AI-enabled/no-code development and iterative user feedback.
Outcome
Demonstrated how the manual workflow could be simplified through a more user-friendly digital solution, enabling faster inventory visibility and easier sales and stock follow-up. The organisation subsequently chose an off-the-shelf system rather than allocating internal resources to further custom development.

Product & Business Validation

2026

Challenge
An early-stage connected mobility company was developing a data-driven service for young drivers combining driving behaviour, digital coaching and insurance-related incentives. The initial product scope contained several possible directions and needed clearer prioritisation around actual customer value.
Approach
Helped narrow a broad initial scope into testable business and customer hypotheses. Conducted target-group research, explored customer needs and evaluated elements of the value proposition, including willingness to pay, to support product and business decisions.
Outcome
Provided evidence and customer insight to support product prioritisation and further development, helping the venture focus resources on the parts of the concept with the strongest potential customer value.

About

Seeing the whole picture before changing it.

I'm a Business Development & Project Management Consultant with extensive experience across different industries, organisations and types of change.

My strength is taking a cross-functional perspective when an important challenge reaches beyond one team's responsibilities. I quickly understand how the business works, listen to the people closest to the problem and connect insights across customers, teams, processes, technology and business goals.

My background in project management, business development, communication and change management — combined with strong facilitation and people skills — allows me to move between analysis and action.

I bring structure, an outside perspective and forward momentum to initiatives that need someone to see the whole picture, bring the right people together and lead the work from insight to implementation.

Experience across industries

Every organisation is different, but the process of understanding the business, identifying the real problem and implementing practical change stays the same.
